I started making this work after vacationing in California and seeing all these wonderful tourist places that had signs telling people where the best place to take the picture is. I started by photographing all these tourist photographing next to these Kodak Picture Spot and then developed the series further by going online and finding these pictures that had been taken over the years. In each of the images there is over fifty separate images taken over years. I search major search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo to find pictures taken from the same or similar vantage points and then brought them together to create a layered image of these famed places.
